Kayla Mae

After spending 5 days in California, Kayla deserves a post all to herself. I cannot express how sweet this little child is. She made my day with all of her hugs, smiles, and her sweet spirit.

Here are the highlights of Kayla!

*One morning while asking her what juice she wanted to drink, she was busy arranging her fuzzy(security blanket) on the couch. After being asked twice what juice she preferred, she looked at me and said,

"I am busy right now doing my things for Sacrament Meeting."

*We stopped for some ice cream on the way to Kathy's doctors appt. I sat in the back and was amazed at how much that girl can down ice cream, cone and all. After she ate, I asked:

"Kayla, are you completely satisfied now that you had the ice cream?"

"No! I am not sad, I am HAPPY!"

*After Kathy did her hair. Kathy commented on how sexy she looked. Kayla looked at us all funny and said in a singsong voice while swaying her hips...

"I am not exy. I am not exxxxy!"

*Scott and Kathy had some "new" friends over. Their 5 year old boy came in the room after playing with Kayla to tell us that she had told him not to look at her because she was pooping.

*Kayla told me that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up because she wants to protect and help people.

*When I asked her how much Jesus loves her...her face got all serious, she looked at me dead in the eyes and whispered, "So Much."

*She is the cutest when she sings! She would sing Scripture Power, songs from Cinderella and the vocals of Ariel.(The part where she is giving up her voice to become human) She even makes up her own songs.

*She has the most infectious laugh.

*After saying goodbye to her with a hug and a "beso", I got into the car and she just started to cry. Seeing and hearing her cry just pulled at my heart. I love that sweet girl.
