I am so sorry for neglecting my blog but a girl has gotta have her priorities! Wow, a lot stuff has happened since July. Here are some of the things that have been going on...
* I went to Los Angeles and stayed with Kathy for 5 days. It was a blast! We went to the Beach, went shopping in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, ate good food, walked down Hollywood Blvd., and the best...we went to see WICKED! It was absolutely fabulous!!!
* I have made some new friends in my Holladay ward. This ward has great activities! I try to make myself go to them. In all honesty, ever since I have moved I don't feel like being as social as I was before...
* I have made the decision to go back to school next semester! I am really looking forward to it. I love to do hair and am extremely grateful that I have talents in that area but I feel like I need to branch out. I will be moving back to Centerville in January and living in my grandpa's basement! I know what you are all thinking but I feel so good about this and know that I will be able to get through school faster this way. I am considering majoring in Graphic Design.
* I have made some really cute art work! It is amazing what a canvas, paper, and mod-podge will make!! So fun!
* I am making mom make my Halloween costume this year. I am going to be Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ! I grew up absolutely loving the movie and ironically, I was never Dorothy as a child, so I am making up for lost time! Will post pics later!
* I am offically now the last girl to get married out of the 7 of us girlfriends in the Centerville 3rd Ward! But hey, I am only 26 years old! I have put a lot of thought into this in the last 6 months and have finally come to terms to accept it and move on! If I had been married anytime sooner, I would have never been able to have great experiences, made incredible friends, truly find out who I am, and to have all the independence(although my mom would say otherwise)! I have to remind myself what Pres. Harold B. Lee once said, "Happiness does not depend on what happens outside of you, but what happens inside of you. It is measured by the spirit with which you meet the problems of life." So, basically, Bring It On!

1 of my Peeps!:
Wow, you inspire me Girl. Look at all you've been able to do with yourself! Things would be very different if you had a husband/child at your side. My opinion is there are pros and cons to EVERYTHING. Life is all what you make of it. P.S., if I could go back, graphic design would be at the top of my list. How long do you think it will take you?
