Eighteen years ago today my dear grandma, Lorraine Ford Brewer, passed away. Granted I was so young when she died, but her memory still lives on. She was an amazing woman even though she had many hard trials in her life. I will always remember her for her:
Cards on Holidays.
Sleepovers; especially sleeping with her in her bed and holding hands.
Fudgesicles in the freezer.
Love for America.
Spring flowers.
Girls ONLY day trips to Downtown Salt Lake.
Bags full of ZCMI candies.
Jewelry from all over the world and letting me dress up in them.
Cupboards being stocked with V-8 Juice, Raisins, Cheese Crackers, and Grape Nuts.
I vividly remember the day, my Grandma and I went to Molly's movies to rent a movie. I was able to choose a Rainbow Brite movie. As I was watching it at Grandma's, she came into the room holding a box for me to open. It was a Rainbow Brite doll! I was so excited...how did she know?!
I hope that she knows just how much of an impact that she made on me for those short eight years of my life. I hope that when we meet again, she looks at me and tells me how proud she is of me and the woman who I became...

1 of my Peeps!:
I miss your grandma... and I never even met her. I sort of feel like I knew her because of how much time we spent in her house.
