Kitties and Puppies

Lately, as I drive around the Holladay/Murray area, I have noticed a lot of people are putting stuffed animals in the back window of their cars. Have you seen this? What the. . .? It has become a thought process for me as I wait for the light to turn green. Here is what has crossed my mind. . .

Do these people put these stuffed animals in the windows in case if there is a natural disaster and can't live without their stuffed kitty? Granted, I have my 72 hour kit in my trunk but shoot. . .do I need to pull out my Pound Puppy?

Most of these stuffed animal drivers are women. Hmm, maybe they need the companionship? Is there a shortage of men who don't like to cuddle and whisper sweet nothings in your ear? Or like how wearing the CTR Ring on your left ring finger tells everyone that you are single. . .is this just another way of telling men that you are single and like to cuddle? If I put mine in the window, am I going to score a date?

And last, I think about how some are actively involved in the lives of animals. They spend money and so much time rescuing animals from abuse, starvation and even natural disasters. Which is great for some people to have that kind of compassion and if it fulfills them, then more power to them. Anyways, these stuffed animals in the back, are they a shrine to the ones they rescued or even lost? Is it a visual reminder to rescue the poor kitties that get ran over day after day?

I don't know about you but I think out of all these reasons, I have to settle on one. . .and it's people are just plain weird!
